Rangers! Years ago your Queen called upon you to defend the Eternal Realm of Tambay from an invasion of Orcs and Goblins. Now, a new threat stands before us, and your Queen once again requires your skill, bravery and strength!
Rival spies attacked the laboratory of Pavio Yaz - the Grand Sorcerer of Ehren - and released his menagerie of fantastic beasts. Pavio died in the attack, and without his magics, these beasts are now free to menace the countryside.
With our Templar armies now massing on the border to prevent further incursions, it now falls to you - the Tambay Ranger Corps - to hunt down these beasts and put an end to their reign of terror.

WHAT
The Hunt for Fantastic Beasts will be our 8th Halloween Archery Event. This year, we will test your archery skills by hunting fantastic beasts from mythologies around the world.

Archers will be split into "hunting parties" that compete to score the most points by shooting monsters that are designed to reflect NFAA animal targets. However, not all these creatures have the same vital spots as the animals we know.
To get monster-slaying tips, as well as background information prior to the event, you will need to visit the UPDATES page weekly.

Food and drink will be provided at the event, and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place hunting parties. All archer skill levels and bow types are welcome to enter.

2021 HALLOWEEN ARCHERY EVENT
The Hunt for Fantastic Beasts is open to all Tampa Bay area archers and Tampa Archery School students.
We ask that all attendees please register and pay online prior to the event using the PayPal button below.
Food and beverages will be provided for all attendees - Medals will be awarded to winning teams.
You must register by October 23rd - walk-ons will not be allowed.
PRICING
Event Attendance with Equipment Rental: $20
Event Attendance without Equipment Rental: $10​
PLEASE NOTE: The Hunt for Fantastic Beasts is an outdoor event and will happen rain or shine. In the event of a hurricane or other severe weather event, The Hunt for Fantastic Beasts may be rescheduled for a different Saturday. All are welcome to wear costumes, so long as the costume is not vulgar or in bad taste and does not impair the archer's ability to shoot safely. "Hunting Teams" will be picked by the Tampa Archery School instructors on the day of the event. If an attendee displays poor sportsmanship or acts unsafely/inappropriately during the event, they may be asked to leave, and no refund will be issued. A Tampa Bay Sporting Clays liability waiver must be signed on the day of the event to attend (unless a current waiver is on file). Tampa Archery School is not liable for any archery equipment that is lost, broken, or misplaced during the event.
